Sean Misfeldt, CPA, CMA

Owner/Operator

Sean Misfeldt is a Chartered Professional Accountant and owner of Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Western University and a Diploma in Accounting from B.C.I.T. With extensive experience in the industry, Sean has served in senior accounting positions at Weldwood (now West Fraser), Jim Pattison Group, and FortisBC. Additionally, he has worked as a business consultant, both locally and internationally, with clients such as the University of California, Coca Cola Bottling, Varian Medical, and Gilead Pharmaceuticals. Sean is dedicated to assisting clients with a wide range of accounting and tax issues and takes pleasure in helping business clients grow and prosper.

Bradley Gunn, CPA

Owner/Operator

Bradley Gunn, a Chartered Professional Accountant and owner of Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs, earned his designation in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Management Degree from the University of British Columbia. Prior to this position, Bradley garnered valuable experience in public practice at Grant Thornton LLP, specializing in tax, advisory, and assurance services.

Throughout his career, Bradley has worked with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to large corporations. His expertise in accounting enables him to provide exceptional service, ensuring that clients' financial needs are met with the utmost care and attention.

Joab Campbell

Chartered Professional Accountant

Joab Campbell has been with Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs since 2018. Born and raised in Kelowna, Joab started as the lead on the personal tax team and has since transitioned to preparing corporate tax returns and providing tax planning advice for clients.

Joab earned his BBA from Okanagan College in 2019 and successfully became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 2025. His dedication to his clients and his drive to continue his education and improve his skills make him a valuable member of the Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs team.

Elin Magnusson

Accountant

Elin Magnusson joined Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs on a part-time basis in 2018 and became a full-time member of our team in 2021. Elin graduated from Okanagan College in 2021 with a BBA in accounting.

Throughout her career, Elin has gained experience in tax and bookkeeping, working with many personal and corporate clients. Her international experience, mainly in hospitality and administration, adds a unique perspective to her work, allowing her to provide exceptional service to clients from a variety of backgrounds.

Leidy Sierra Hernandez

Accountant

Leidy Sierra Hernandez, Lead of our Personal Tax department at Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs, brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, supported by her education in Business Administration with an accounting major. Since joining Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs, she has quickly become a valuable member of the team, taking on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

With years of experience in personal tax, Leidy excels in preparing personal tax returns. She provides valuable advice and assistance to clients, helping to ensure that their tax returns are accurate and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, as a native Spanish speaker (born and raised in Venezuela) before relocating to Canada in 2019, Leidy is able to assist clients who prefer communication in Spanish. Her commitment and attention to detail make her an indispensable asset to the Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs team.

Paulina Rojas

Manager, Customer Service and Marketing

Paulina Rojas, our Manager of Customer Services and Marketing since January 2021. With over 10 years of experience across various industries. She began her career in Mexico after earning a Bachelor's in Commerce and International Business from EBC Escuela Bancaria y Comercial. Paulina used her education and experience to work for large corporations in Mexico before embarking on an exciting new chapter in Canada in 2017, where she expanded her knowledge by earning a Marketing Diploma from Okanagan College in 2019. She deeply cares about our clients and is committed to providing the best possible service. Paulina's adaptability, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Francies Smith

Senior Bookkeeper

Francies Smith brings over 30+ years of bookkeeping experience; during this time, she successfully operated her own small bookkeeping business for five years. Based here in Okanagan, Fran joined Misfeldt & Gunn CPAs in 2018, becoming our experienced full-time bookkeeper for the last several years. Previously, before becoming a valuable asset to the Misfeldt & Gunn CPA team, Francies worked in other industries, with twelve years of experience as a manager specializing in bookkeeping/computers, customer support and human resources for large corporations.

Francies is dedicated to satisfying clients, ensuring work is accurate and completed before deadlines. With strong communication skills and being current with industry knowledge, she's a reliable ally for your business. Currently, she is registering with the Certified Professional Bookkeepers (CPB), TSheets certified, and knowledgeable in QuickBooks Online.

Bea Desbiens

Manager, Bookkeeping

Bea Desbiens, is an experienced bookkeeper and payroll specialist who joined our team in January 2012. Based in Grand Forks, Bea brings with her over 25 years of bookkeeping experience, including seven years with a Pattison Group company in the Okanagan where she specialized in accounts receivable, inventories, and analyzing large amounts of data.

As our primary contact for bookkeeping and payroll services, Bea is dedicated to ensuring that deadlines are met and that work is completed accurately. Her Quickbooks Online and TSheets certifications further showcase her impressive skill set, making her an essential part of our team.
